What is Bootstrap?
It is the most popular HTML, CSS. and JS Framework for developing responsive, mobile-first websites.projects on the Web. As the main developer of Timber-Boot, I discover Bootstrap the day it was released, and have been using it ever since.
Built Mobile First: “Bootstrap’s grid system uses a series of containers, rows, and columns to layout and align content. It’s built with flexbox and is fully responsive.” Bootstrap builds layouts of all shapes and sizes using its amazing mobile-first flexbox grid system. The grid system is composed of 12 columns, 5 responsive tiers (more can be added), SASS mixins and variables, powerful predefined classes.
Prebuilt Elements and Components: Timber-Boot uses version 4.3.1 of Bootstrap. The framework is combined and compiled into the CSS and JS files. These files are bootstrap.css, booststrap.js, popover.js, popper.js and jQuery 3.3.1. Bootstrap is the foundation for the layout, content, elements & components, and utilities in the Timber-Boot template.
Affordability: The thing that makes Bootstrap affordable are the ability to use the same design and code between multiple projects and quickly develop new designs.
